Rankings News 1st June 2007
June rankings
The rankings are now based on matches played in the 12
months up to the end of May 2007. All your results are still displayed on the
site – even if they were played more than a year ago.
I hope you find the site a comprehensive, and accurate,
ranking of squash players in Scotland. Please let me know by using the feedback
form if you have any strong opinions on the ranking list or if you spot any
omissions or inaccuracies. Thanks.
The total number of players ranked this month is 1693. To
rank these players 11,924 matches were taken into consideration. Each player
has to have played in 3 matches to get a ranking.
What’s new this month?
The main addition this month is the full set of results from
the West of Scotland leagues played this season.
Other tournaments now available include the Highland Junior
Open and the East Junior Graded.

What’s coming next month?
There are now very few events over the summer but please let
me know (by using the feedback form) of any tournaments so that we can include
the results.
Thanks to everyone who has voiced their opinion about the
rankings. Over the summer those comments will help to create a new improved
version for next season – more predictive and more informative. Keep your
comments coming!

Here are the biggest ranking shocks in the last 3 months.
Many of the players in this list have had fairly dramatic changes to their
ranking since these results. Take a look at all your results to make sure they
are correct. It could affect your ranking!
Most Improved Players this month
With the introduction of 400+ players into the rankings this
month (mainly from the West leagues) there are not many improvers! I will
update this table next time.

to Ranking History to get a graph of your performance over the last few
months.
